The original electro diva Roisin has released a song with early nineties hooks to die for. It’s called Momma’s Place and I bet some remixes will be even better. She performed it early Autumn as part of her DJ set at London’s SeOne club where she was very pregnant and ever so charming. Ms Murphy is at the moment enjoying taking care of her newborn baby girl Clodagh thus we might have to wait with the album a bit.

…are making soulful electropop. Not that it’s anything new but not everyone’s as catchy as Knixx.

The Swedish darling is cracking the States with her electric voice performing the single “Breaking It Up” live on Late Night with Conan O’Brien. She looks wicked with the megaphone.

…with their forte of synthpop. At least it seems so with every song dropped. Needles to say more - enjoy the video.

Well, not quite The Knife themselves, but the animator behind their superb video, Motomichi Nakamura has produced an animation for the up and coming band Temposhark’s single “Blame“. Above you can see Nakamura’s Chaz & Daz Vinyl Toys and he limits his colours to white, black and red just like The White Stripes.
The sound kind of reminds me of a slightly better yet just an average MTV pop/rock band and I’m mostly posting this for the video (I hope there’s more about them for Nakamura seems to have excellent taste). But Temposhark come from Brighton/London and have just released their debut album “The Invisible Line” which drops names like Guy Sigsworth, Imogen Heap and Martin Glover aka Youth.

Mida kujutab endast üks korralik modernsust kehastav koduperenaine/vallaline naine kui ta üksi on? Ängi annab edasi Roisin Murphy uus video singlile “You Know Me Better”, kus ta madonnalikult korduvalt ümber kehastub, siiski efektsemalt. Kuigi lugu on ise selline diskokas, on video üsna aeglane.

Zoot Woman on üks mu lemmikumaid elektroonilise indie tegijaid.
Zoot Womani uut laulu “We Won’t Break” saab täiesti legaalselt tõmmata siit.
Lisan laiskadele veel Les Rythmes Digitalese nime all tehtud 80ndaid meenutava videoga “(Hey You) What’s That Sound” video.

Frankide Kitsuné leibeli “Maisoni” viiendal kogumikul ilmutab Fischerspooneri uus lugu “The Best Revenge”.
